Overview

Comprehensive tool for analyzing individual variables in your dataset. Provides automatic type detection, summary statistics (mean, median, standard deviation, quartiles), distribution visualizations with histograms and box plots, and outlier detection using IQR, Z-Score, and Modified Z-Score methods.

Tips

• Upload CSV data and select a column to analyze
• Review the Overview tab for summary statistics (central tendency, dispersion, shape)
• Distribution tab shows histograms - adjust bin count for optimal granularity
• Skewness interpretation: Positive (right-skewed), Negative (left-skewed), ~0 (symmetric)
• Three outlier detection methods available: IQR (most common), Z-Score (assumes normality), Modified Z-Score (robust to extremes)
• Use outlier detection to inform data cleaning and preprocessing strategies
• Export reports for documentation or sharing with stakeholders
