Tips

• Low-pass: passes low frequencies, attenuates high frequencies
• High-pass: passes high frequencies, attenuates low frequencies
• Band-pass: passes frequencies within a range

• Cutoff frequency: where attenuation begins (-3dB point)
• Filter order: higher order = sharper transition
