  2. The Missing Storage Mystery: Your hard drive isn’t broken - manufacturers advertise in decimal GB (1000 MB), but your OS shows binary GiB (1024 MiB). A 1 TB drive shows as ~931 GiB.
  3. Bits vs Bytes: Internet speeds use bits (Mbps), but file sizes use Bytes (MB). To convert download speed to file transfer rate, divide by 8. So 100 Mbps = 12.5 MB/s actual download speed.
